IntheprocessofbuildinganecologicalChina,theexpressdeliveryindustryhasbecomeamajorareaforimprovement.InAugust2016,theStatePostBureauissuedaplantoadvancegreenpackagingintheexpressdeliveryindustry.
InNovember2017,tenministerial-levelgovernmentdepartmentsofChina,includingtheStatePostBureau,theNationalDevelopmentandReformCommission,theMinistryofScienceandTechnology,theMinistryofEnvironmentalProtection,jointlyreleasedguidanceoncollaborativepromotionofgreenpackagingintheexpressdeliveryindustry.
Accordingtoindustryexperts,theChinesegovernmentstillneedstoformulatenationalstandardsongreenlogisticstoensurethecompatibilityandinteroperabilityoflogisticstechnology,productsandservicesamongdifferententerprisestoencouragethemtostrengthencooperationinresearchanddevelopmentofnewtechnologiesandnewmodelsandprovideservicesthataremoreenvironmentallyfriendly.
